Another super low miles Honda from the garage I've referenced a few times now, and again at least, what, 3k overpriced....bloody nice car though, sort of thing that would do me for next five years or so!

I'm closer to understanding the Flat Earthers, than I am the mental gymnastics one would need to perform in order to spend so much money on that.
You should see the 8k they are asking for a previous shape 2007 2.4 petrol vtec!! It's got 42k miles. Bonkers prices. They had a 20k mile BMW 650 convertible recently which admittedly was lovely and actually seemed well priced when I compared it to others on AT. It sold quickly.

Never driven a MK2 but I was fairly smitten with its predecessor, a humble MK1 was a very, very enjoyable drive, at least compared to the BMW e30s I've driven. Cracking purchase.

That’s quite the gentleman’s garage.

That's very me. Price doesn't seem unreasonable either.

Until you remember that you used to be able to buy a house in Kent for that sort of money...

I've just checked Autotrader for the cheapest new cars ( A Citroen AMi, so does not belong on this thread ).
Back in the 1980's I bought a flat for less wonga than the next cheapest new car listed.

Still, that Red Rolls is a very nice car.

The higher rear waistline of the 212 makes sense estate car wise.
Funny - I prefer the lower waistline of the 211 because rear seat passengers (kids) can see out of their windows better, and the dog in the boot can even look out the windows while lying down biggrin

Maybe so, but you can't look cool as you whisk your attractive companion to the south of France in a Kent house.

And if you were writing that in the 1980s, you would be referring to the 1940s and how cheap property was back then. Not exactly useful information...

Even that car and a cool blonde/hot brunette/stabby redhead could not make me look cool. I would need to be in a saloon with blacked out windows, so that nobody could see me - Then somebody might think that I looked cool.

But I could be tempted to try looing to look cool by driving this Friday priced vehicle:

Friday liberties, in my head I’d look cool in this - very practical family wagon with a V8. Performance and ride are ‘adequate’ but not in the usual understated way biggrin

Not superb, but utterly ste and a grim experience. Trust me, and don't be tempted.

Sorry cdg, loved my mates one, utterly useless as a piece of transport, slow, noisy, thirsty, bumpy, draughty, but so loveable. (I've loved every Series Landy I've owned as well!)

I find stuff like that is loads of fun for an hours mess around, but as soon as you actually have to use it to do a job it's absolutely bloody awful.

What happened to that 300bhp/ton weirdo who insisted a series landrover was every bit as comfortable and practical as a 21st century hatchback?

He'd love that.

FYI. That one was at Bicester Scramble last year and converted as an overlander for a Nova Scotia to Alaska expedition.

This looks lovely and reasonably priced considering the white (grey?) background. Wonky plate makes my teeth itch however.

It's always the little things that put me off. If they've not paid attention to a wonky plate, being such a small job that makes a big difference, what else is there that could be wrong? Probably many more complex, time consuming issues that have been ignored.

Though... it might be fine - someone buy it and let me know biglaugh
