It's very strange after so many years riding sportsbikes to go to a naked, but I like it. I've only done 100 miles on it admittedly but it's very agile and I enjoy the low down torque. I need to get it out a proper run, there is a few wee issues already though, the throttle is jerky as fk around town but I think that's a known characteristic and I've a leaking front brake reservoir. But the looks have even grown on me.
Is there a remap fix for the jerkiness?

Thats a good shout - appreciate the feedback and good knowledge there

I wanted the zeeltronic setup and qs but it was another grand for everything inc install and dyno setup and with my racing absorbing a lot of my funds I had to put on the back burner
If you don't need to, I can't really recommend changing the ecu for something like the Zeel........As you say, big $$ for negligible improvements...

A short ride out after dinner to get my misses out on the Monkey again.

Since she passed her test and got a CBR300R, the Monkey rarely gets ridden any more (but she refuses to sell it hehe)

Rain mode seems to work wonders.

If you told me Two years ago I’d be smitten with a Harley Davidson I’d have laughed at the idea.

This bike really is something else
Happy Friday all.

Its what makes you feel good inside, I've changed over the last few years, I understand where you're coming from.

I have to admit, the novelty had worn right off with it being limited but now I can hit 10 rpm it's a different wee bike. It's brilliant. Although, the q/s isn't working, I think it's just the lever position. But for £400 odd quid for an oil change and the activation by KTM I'd expect them to have fking done it.

Thank you, they are indeed pretty smart, quality is excellent, maintenance very simple, twin horns are proper loud and it sips fuel, sounds fantastic even on its standard exhaust, it has a sonorous, metallic, resonant, natural 4 cylinder (slightly altered firing order) sound that makes me smile every time it catches off the starter. I had a few bikes on my shortlist, this, and the likes of the Speed Twin / Thruxton, I felt the Honda was a little rarer and a definite future classic, I’ll never sell it.

Re the handling / ride, I wouldn’t say it was “nimble” my other bike is a BMW RT and I can place that within an inch anywhere on the road, the CB is maybe a little lazy possibly due to the fork angle and the ride on the Ohlins suspension is definitely a tad too stiff for our potholed crumbling carriageways.

All the best with whatever you do buy:
