A convertible in that spec and colour has just turned up at BCA, it looks fabulous but a bit scruffy round the edges. Just my sort of car 
I'd rather a light interior like the one much like it that went through at Bristol 2 months ago, which also had the same wheels as drmotorsport, but you can't expect too much from the used car factory. I think I'd change the roof for a burgundy one when the rear glass inevitably drops out.

In fairness I've done little with it except drive it places lately - my mother passed away late in December so I've been busy helping dad with stuff, driving up and down to see him etc. Hopefully get to stretch its legs a bit soon now we're out of winter (touch wood) here in Scotland!It's an interesting thing though, very like the XKR in some respects - that sense of vastness about the engine, the dual personality thing of being just as happy pottering as giving it the beans. Not as well appointed inside, definitely not as pretty outside and not as comfortable in terms of ride. While the XKR is faster the C63 feels a bit more dramatic and feels like the handling matches the performance. And here's something you probably never thought you'd hear - I miss the fuel economy of the XKR!

The XKR-S didn't have a different supercharger pulley from the XKR - the engine was entirely the same, the only powertrain hardware differences were in the exhaust, other than that it's just the ECU mapping. Your Dynamic R will have the same crossover mid-section as the XKR-S but I think the back-box from the standard XKR.reddiesel said:

The C63 Coupe is a little bit lighter IIRC but gives away a bit of power, but torque is fairly similar between the two. Pre-facelift C63s had a fairly awful slushbox, not a patch on the ZF ones. Facelift examples like mine got a MCT which is much more user-friendly and effective.I'd have thought it's a fairly safe bet for the 5 litre XKR to be a bit quicker. On the throttle response comment and the inevitable traction issues, I’m now 4 months into ownership of a 2011 XKR, now looking at possible replacement tyre options. I drive mine always in sport on the paddles (always pull away in 2nd) and when Mrs D isn’t in the car I have dynamic mode on. The traction with the Dunlops on mine is diabolical out of junctions no matter how much I modulate the throttle - I’ve had a lot of quick cars now, including 3 previous s/c Jags, so I’m beginning to blame the Dunlops.
Does anyone have better experience with the Michelin PS4S or the new Continentals?

The Dunlops are widely known to be crap, I binned a set with 5mm of tread on they're that poor.

I had the Dunlops on my 5.0 XKR when I got it, quickly swapped for Vredestein Ultrac Vortis - miles better. Later went for the Michelin PS4S, I'd say the outright grip wasn't that much better than the Vredesteins but feedback was significantly improved, I'd use them again without question. My C63 came on four nearly new Continental Sport Contact 7s, can't compare directly with the Michelins as they were on different cars but they're also very impressive. When I picked up my XKR Dynamic in Jan, they’d just put a set of Pirelli P Zeros on it. No expense spared by the JLR main dealer.
Probably not what I would have put on, having had them on both the F355 and Mazer, they are a fantastic tyre in the warm and dry but wear quite quickly. But v skittish in the cold. And over early Spring in the SW with single figure temperatures, the car did struggle for grip.
I put Avons on the Mazer 4200 in the end, which I thought were pretty good and very underrated. Hopefully won’t have to think about tyres for 5he XKR this year but will follow with interest.

I've got P Pzero PZ4 on my XJ Supersport and also found them to be quite exciting in the cold, glad it's not just me.
I'd not buy them again, I've found Pirellis to be inconsistent performers for decades like a mid range tyre at a premium price, but I wouldn't throw them in the bin like the Dunlops.
