Sorry, I was reminiscing from when it used to work in England. I found PH 20 years ago while googling the unsigned loophole. This forum was a lot more helpful towards spirited driving in those days.

Agreed. Why commit a more serious crime trying to avoid a minor speeding offence. They could both end up in jail for PCoJ.

A Labour MP and her brother were jailed for similar.

Lib Dem MP and his ex-wife (and the lawyer involved).

8 months each for the Huhnes and 16 months for the lawyer.

I know several people who’ve done just that. Severe penalties yes but minimal chance of being found out.
