Hahaha... It's going well then.

Jan - 272
Feb - 460
Mar - 655
Apr - 1057

What a monumental waste of time & money, as well as the negative PR for all those involved.

Particularly bad PR for Senedd, Labour movement and the great ex-leader Dripford. Couldn't have come at a better time biggrin

and the article quotes
“Transport Minister Ken Skates agreed that things needed to change and put local authorities in charge of reverting roads in their areas.”
Sorry, the local authorities were always in charge of designating exceptions to 20mph limits, I am not sure what Ken Skates is actually trying to say that is different from the inception.

Classy, let disadvantaged kids die.
Disadvantaged kids tend to live in City centers with 20 / 30 mph limits

Advantaged kids tend to live in the countryside with 60 limits

So it looks like we're trying to keep the factory fodder alive, whilst country kids are bright enough to figure it out for themselves

Seems the trend of cameras being cut down has come to Swansea. Few videos going around and a FB page. I don't know how bright it is of them to do this as it makes it far too easy for the police to find them. There was even a GofundMe at one point, presumably for new blades.

They won’t see it as negative. It’s going really well.

They want to create a hostile environment for motorists.
They don’t want you driving.
They are loving it.

Indeed. It will be seen as a great result.

Just another attack on its citizens. All going to plan.

100%. It’s also why so many extended sections of the m4 are now unnecessarily 50 mph.

Yes total control of the peasants, by a Labour administration....

The thing is the motor car being available from a banger to a supercar, all have a right to be on the road.

Labour want all cars off the road, except their chauffeur driven motors of course, get out of the way plebs.

Not necessary, as the anti-motorist sentiment is mostly from busybody shinypants in local gov't.

The 'temporary' 5p cut on the fuel tax as introduced in March 2022 by (then-Chancellor) Sunak will remain in place until March 2025, unless Starmer gets more money from the Just Stop Oil plutocrat Labour donor when he's PM. Was fuel duty not first frozen by a Conservative-led gov't in 2011?

After cancelling Brown's HS2 project, a nationwide programme of pothole repairs and road resurfacing projects was made possible and the initial tranche of £8.3 billion in reallocated funding has led to the first set of roads being resurfaced - Southport and Sunderland, £150 million already. Much more to come, some details are on .gov.uk

The new ICE cars sales ban announced initially as 2030 was recently (;ast year, 2023) delayed by 5 years to start from 2035. We may yet see Starmer get himself covered in Not Zero glory despite u-turning on £28bn of greenblob 'funding'.

Then we have the Labour Mayor and his con charge / hot air money gouging from motorists, following his predecessor Red Ken's wish to ban the lot (cars). Not forgetting Labour's Presclot and his Zil bus lane mania. Labour in Wales - not alone, Leopards, spotty.

A Tory policy created and imposed.

Following Tory laws imposed on local government to improve air quality. Starting in 1995 requiring reporting, 2010 air quality standards and 2017 NOx standards and the Environmental act 2021 which imposed penalties.

And the 2015 Boris policy that created ULEZ...

Labour will only be continuing the good work that the Torys have done. Credit where credit is due.

Senedd votes to increase size and cost of devolved government. More politicians takes priority over more doctors, dentists, nurses and teachers.

ITV News said:
Senedd votes to increase number of politicians in Welsh parliament and change voting system.

Senedd members have voted to back plans to increase the number of Senedd members and to change the votes system. 43 members voted for it while 16 - the Conservatives - voted against. It needed 40 members to pass.

It means that total number of politicians will rise from 60 to 96 at the next Senedd election in or before May 2026.
