I'll admit Im just an average player (win rate hovering about 51%). I enjoy playing ranked, and have got to the gold league this time, only the second or third time Ive got to gold. Its ridiculously toxic! The amount of hate sprayed around in every direction really ruins the game.

That is above average - I believe the average used to be or still hovers around late 48% or low 49%

Off topic, so please forgive me, but I wondered if anyone on here has access to the old WoT PH clan?

I can't find any active members and it must have a huge amount of resources etc by now?

Thanks for the advice smile

Played a bit more over the weekend, delved into more PvP battles and slowly starting to get better. Currently playing in the Hawkins (Tier 5 cruiser) but still think I need to work on understanding my role and the strengths/weaknesses of my ship. And I also need to get better with torpedoes, I reckon I have a <1% success rate with them. I can be less than 500m away with the other ship broadside and still miss hehe

The British heavy cruiser line is a bit of a slog; they don't excel at anything really!

Lol, ok useful to know. I have just unlocked the first US Battleship as I fancied a play, next will have to be a destroyer although I'll have to brush up on my torpedo skills biggrin

South Carolina is slow, but otherwise not bad.

The best ship at T3 is the St.Louis / Charleston hehe

I dropped down the tiers for a bit there - T5 british cruiser Exeter was my weapon of choice. OK the skill level wasn't as high but no where near as toxic.
I actually gained several karma points too. I'm not concerned about my karma score but it was interesting to see.

Back to T9/T10 tonight and instantly lose 2 karma points in 2 games. One player even pinged me in chat to say I was reported and blacklisted, just because I sank him. hehe

People like that I add to my chat list and every day I send them a message asking if everything is OK at home, and would they like someone to talk to about their emotional instability. biglaugh

Turns out a lot of the WOWs playerbase is missing a sense of humour! hehe
