Fair to say the kid has potential!

Look at any modern professional sport and these kinds of records are being broken all the time. From Darts to F1 this is happening. Some of his achievements so far include:

Kids are now being coached at younger ages and are being pushed by their parents into sports at a young age because the money is so good.

Yes, so many 16 (17) year old darts players are pissing it. Kids are now being coached at younger ages and are being pushed by their parents into sports at a young age because the money is so good.
Littler has just won Players Championship 1, on his debut and hit a 9 darter in the process in an earlier round. He also missed double 12 for a second 9 darter. Beat Ryan Searle in the final and Searle had a 110+ plus average and 70% checkout rate! These are the bread and butter tournaments, 30 of them across the season with all 128 tour card holders able to play. To give an idea of the standard, there were 2 other 9 darters today. Another £15,000 in the bag and up to No 30 in the world. The guy is a freak of nature! See how he goes on tomorrow in Players Championship 2.

If littler wins the tournament, then the PDC will be under pressure for him to be in the premier league.
Being in the premier league would put a huge work load on him,
Media commitments Wednesdays,
Premier league Thursday nights
Travel and play on the Friday for the weekend tournaments.
Usually premier league players are top 16 so don’t need to play their first game until Saturday on the weekend tournaments.
There are alot of interviews with both former and current darts players on YouTube describing the mental and physical pressures of playing full time on the tour.
Not saying he can’t do it, but the PDC will have to try and protect him somehow.
Quick thread throwback as I was just pondering this.Being in the premier league would put a huge work load on him,

How does he cope with the legal requirements around being in education? Is there some sort of dispensation for this type of scenario?
It would obviously be absurd to tell Littler and his parents that he has to give up the job earning him £££££ a year to concentrate on getting the qualifications to earn ££ a year, but presumably there also has to be some way of preventing abuse of the system?
