A couple from yesterday. Experimenting with bar height and saddle position to get my new Fairlight dialled in.

Ride was just 41km, taking in the lowest and highest points of the city (Auckland, NZ). Waterfront to top of Mount Eden (196m).

New Forest has good riding to be had. Near Moors Valley there's also the Castleman for gravel.

Cool. I'll be on my hardtail MTB, so whilst single track would be my preference I don't mind gravel rides either.

I'm not aware of any particular taxing singletrack locally.

Yes, Moors Valley has a blue trail. I've ridden it a couple of times. rofl

Extra day off yesterday thanks to Mark Harper so it seemed rude not to go out.

Well summer finally seems to be here woohoo

MTB on trails not sodden really is an amazing mood lifter.

What a fab morning.

Ride from Bath, thru Avebury to Stow-Nenge then home. Lovely weather for a cycle ride!

So nice seeing all these new biking photos appearing more regularly again smile

It has been such a massive boost to my own mental and physical health just by being out and about again. I’m definitely a fairer weather cyclist (and happy to admit it)!

Today was a 68km loop from Hampshire crossing into Wiltshire and back again. Predictably beautiful!

My mate was demoing a Cotic bike today, so I joined him for a ride in the Peak District, other than this water splash, the trails were mostly dry and dusty.

In the U.S. visiting family. Borrowed my brother’s De Rosa whilst I’m here. 40km Friday and 60km group ride yesterday in Illinois.

Road surfaces are shockingly bad. Car drivers should pass and give you 3 feet. They don’t.
Anyway…..

Today’s ride, with an unplanned Sunday lunch and pint of Inch’s. Marvellous!

I can ride after a pint or two but a pint and a feed like that I'd be struggling, home leg after that I wouldn't fancy!

Ah, I was only a few km from home, returning from a 40km loop, hence the last-minute decision to stop beer

Just back from 11 days on the South coast of Spain. It was about 5 degrees when we left the UK!

These roads are insane ... smooth, quiet and always more pleasant with the sun on your back. I had some roads where on a 50k stretch, I'd pass maybe 2 or 3 cars.

If anyone is thinking of a spring or winter riding location that isn't Mallorca or Girona (far better weather than both) then this has to be at the top of your list. We always stay in Nerja which gives you a choice of rides (they al involve a lot of climbing!) down the coast, heading East and then inland. There are Westerly rides which also lead inland but as the roads are fewer due to the more extreme terrain so you just need to be ready for a longer day in the saddle ... rides up/down the goats path and across towards Sierra Nevada are a real treat when you're legs are up for it.

Looks amazing. My parents live in Nerja, but I’ve never cycled, would you mind sharing routes, please?
