Magic stuff Reg, I'm out on the patio, with the doors open. Hope the neighbours like it.

Pulled this out and played a few times, lots of good associations.
It is of its time, and there's a couple of duds, but this album brought together the house/rave/hardcore sound, and was a key pointer to the following breaks/techno/trance scenes.

There on day 1 was Frankie, and his brother Adam X. I'll need to check if any of they tracks were on the Looney Tunes stuff, that's where I became aware of him, and Lenny Dee. And, of course, "Call it Techno".

Think it was Musto's studio used for all this, he was like a hub for early techno, I'm sure he had something to do with Beltram getting into it, he basically threw like minded folk together and said "give me something to play".

This one here is an interesting read.

I'm sure there's another one he talked about Joey Beltram, could be misremembering, things are hazy enough about last week, nevermind 30odd years ago.

I could be doing him a disservice, although don't think I am: those tracks remind me what a magpie Mr Hawtin was.

Similarly, his well known, legendary track "Spastik" (1993), ahem...Track B1 on here (unfortunately not on youtube)
