THUNDER IN THE TUNNELS 9!!!!!!!!
Discussion
Afternoon everyone! I know this a bit delayed now, but I also wanted to say my thanks to the organisers for a really great event. It was a brilliant day, utter chaos a lot of the time & couldn't help but laugh my head off when sat at various junctions & lights, thinking I knew where I was meant to go, only for small groups of 3 or 4 other Tivs to be going in all sorts of other directions! At no other time would you get away with 20 cars all doing U-turns on a dual carriageway road in the middle of London, all shrugging their shoulders mouthing 'dunno'! Next time I think I'll read the instructions instead of following others!
Being from a small village I was a bit wary of coming to drive around the big smoke, especially in my old dog, but was made to feel very welcome and every bit a part of it as everyone else!
Particular thanks to Steve C and Anthony B as well for very kindly offering me a place to stay! Very kind of you gents, thank you.
The mrs had previously questioned why I like to go to these car-based events, but on the way home thanked me for taking her along and said 'now I see why you go to these things, everyone was so friendly. They are all really nice people!'. So thanks for that, I'm now gunna have to take her everywhere!
Got a few short phone video's, they aren't the best but here's the links anyway just in case any of your cars are on them. Sorry about my big head being in there at times...

Serious point guys, very easy to damage your hearing by prolonged noise like exhausts. You only get one pair of ears so look after them. It's not wussie or anything.
Disposable earplugs are a must on a run like that and I wear them all the time in my Tiv. On a long motorway run I will sometimes wear a pair of peltor ear defenders. Getting some proper solid earplugs made up soon.
I am a musician and know many people with damaged hearing due to prolonged exposure to loud sounds. Tinnitus is no joke, trust me!
Sorry to be boring!

I don't think is is much of an issue tbh, prolonged infers the TVR is driven, they make no noise in a garage Disposable earplugs are a must on a run like that and I wear them all the time in my Tiv. Thought I would video some of you crazy kids whilst my car was 'relaxing' by the side of the road! Luckily it was only a corroded connector on the coil, all fixed. Now why did the AA man not find that one out??
