Its a PR stunt, clear as day. I very much doubt he’s got ‘offers on the table’ from anywhere. So this is an attempt to rehab Schofe’s image by showing that he’s still in with TV royalty, and so, just an OK bloke really.

Just substitute Schofe for Partridge and Dec for Les Dennis and you’ll get it.
