Those set designs just get better every year.
And must be the largest lighting rig ever ….
I wonder how many lights they use?

Wouldn't take the coat hanger out of his jacket and ended up knocking a TV camera over.

I posted about it yesterday. He was harassing Eden Golan backstage as the two were preparing for the dress rehearsal. He also baited her at the press conference yesterday.

Hope the idiot mob don't try and turn him into some kind of martyr now.

In the BBC article the organisers stress that it is to do with his behaviour towards a member of the TV production team rather than another contestant or their contingent.

Whether this is true or whether it’s been said just to deflect from all the social media comments I guess we’ll never know.

Apparently it's being reported on the BBC it was nothing to do with the Israeli entry, and then they go on to report about the baiting incident.

Has the Dutch idiot been disqualified yet?
Yes, but not politically motivated. Something happened with a production assistant, leading to a police complaint.

The article does say there will be only 25 acts instead of 26 so I guess he's on his way home.

Why do these aspiring artists get ideas above their station ?

Political heavyweights Jay Aston and Cheryl Baker
are in great demand on TV womansplaining the complex middle east situation and the
ramifications of Israel being represented by a straight, white woman with a cervix.

Later on today Lulu will be giving her thoughts on the long term aims of Russia's foreign
policy and Putin's desire for empire building.

Clever use of words. The production assistant reported the incident to the police, but it is being kept vague as to what the incident was and it is not being said that Klein's actions were directed at the production assistant.

Information control going into action. What came out within minutes of it happening was that Klein was the next act on stage at the dress rehearsal with Golan waiting in the wings to follow him. Something was said to someone and then the instructions went out to the stage crew to remove Klein's set as he would not be performing. A recording of his semi-final performance was shown to the judges and then Eden Golan followed with her live performance as scheduled.

This was yesterday evening, after an earlier incident which has been widely broadcast and reported where Klein interjected when Golan was asked a question at the afternoon press conference about whether her presence there was putting the other acts in danger (which IMO sounds like attempting to incite a terrorist incident, but hey-ho) and an EBU representative said to Golan that she did not have to answer that question, but Klein shouted indignantly "why not?"

IMO No great loss that Klein isn't performing. His song and act was bks anyway.

Pity that politics mars the cheese-fest though. It's always been 'political' with scoring of course, but it's a shame when it affects the acts and show.

It’s been made clear that no other act or delegation was involved.

Yes, it's not being reported what the bag head said to the production assistant that caused her to report him to the police.

Apparently, an Israeli delegate made fun of Joost’s dead parents, which caused Joost to lash out and punch them. It's all speculation at this moment in time. Might not be true.
