Got a few things done this weekend. Put up tensioned wire cables across the ceiling of the greenhouse yesterday, for attaching plant support to. This afternoon I mowed the lawn, shredded the tree branches, extended the veg/greenhouse watering system to water the strawberry plants, reconnected the timers for the front garden and ornamentals watering systems, and replaced the broken drippers. I've given up on the cheap Chinese drippers, they are too fragile. I resent what the Claber ones cost for a bit of plastic, but they are a more robust design.

Things I meant to do but didn't get round to;

Potting on a load of the veg plants in the greenhouse
Clipping the hedges

I'll do those after work in the week, the light nights make things so much more productive.

A pic from our wild flower meadow, after a huge amount of work through the winter its now over an acre in size, half of it is now oxeye daisy, the rest is a mixture of all sorts of wild flowers that you'd see in a typical british meadow, it's also bordered with Foxglove and Tree Lupins which make for quite an intoxicating scent.
