Poor girl is burnt out , short walk on beach in pendine, she can’t go far now , had to carry her up slipway ,,,
Her back legs are out of sync , after a short walk one leg hits the other , think I’m gonna get a pram for her

Sorry to read this.

We are on holiday with our three dogs

Meeko has found a position where he can keep watch both inside and outside.

Good boy Meeko smile Is he missing his feline friend Zorro?

Looking forward to seeing holiday pics.
I don’t think he is.

We are in an air bnb which must be three times the size of our house.

It has a huge sofa so all the dogs can join us.

How is Rosie?

Sounds lovely, enjoy.

Rosie isn't great unfortunately; thanks for asking. Lots of tests this week. Bloods, urine, ultrasound scan. Four vet visits (yesterday's was at 2.45 then we were referred to the specialist in Carmarthen and didn't get home until 8.30). The upshot of it all is that she has Kidney Disease like Sam. So not good. We will see how she is over the weekend then make a decision.

We took Gigi to see Grandma this afternoon. They have a 45kg Rottweiler, Sparky.
Gigi was bossing her, wouldn't let her near the biscuits and would actually snarl and chase her away.
Don't ever think Chihuahuas are soft!

Bless her, she looks super peaceful in those photos. Staffies get the nicest grey faces as they age.

Here’s my French potato on an early morning walk before the heat sets in.

Thank you. It’s still very raw and I’m thinking about him all the time. It’s odd times that get you - when my wife pulls onto the drive I’ve very nearly said ‘Arch, who’s at the door’ as he’d always look out the window then hop up and down at the front door, or coming down in the morning and he’s not sat on his rug looking up, turning the lounge light off to go to bed and not letting him out for a wee, or my daughter not realising we had post because she didn’t hear him barking at the postie!

Anyway, he’s back home now and sat in front of the fireplace along with one of his toys. I kind of like him at home and now he’s here I’m not sure about scattering his ashes. We’ll see how it goes. It’s been easier talking about him at work as the week’s gone on - a lot of my colleagues are friends on Facebook so saw the news but haven’t necessarily seen much of me this week. Kept it together though - just - but it’ll take some getting used to. I’m sure it’s something we’ve all gone through as pet owners so apologies to all if I’m being a bit of a drama queen here, I guess we all deal with these things differently.
it's been exactly the same here.
Same with us.

You have not been a drama queen at all. Losing a beloved pet is so hard to deal with
Likewise. 7 Weeks since we lost Mads, I still think about her every day, it just hurts a little less now.

Good to get him home mate, as others have said, take your time with working out what to do with the ashes, Mads is in a casket of a BC doing a play bow, which is exactly how she would play with toys and eat treats. Just in front of the fireplace in the lounge, which was her room.

love

Although GiGi seems to have turned her back on the surf.

I can’t seem to upload a video clip anymore. Seth struggled to see some GSDs over the long grass the other night and I caught him on camera for a moment. Hopefully if you swipe through a series of photos it appears last but one.

My wife sent me this pic she captured of our Black Lab (Crumble - I know, silly name... Previous one was called Bramble and our young son named him).

He absolutely loves that Frisbee. His most treasured possession. He'd run himself to death chasing it if he could. So we have ration it - probably part of its appeal.
