there's an American actor he puts me in mind of but for the life of me I can't remember anything about him (may have been a store clerk in a Demi Moore film)

A while ago a colleague I had worked with for 15 years said he saw 'me' at a wedding reception in a town a few miles from where I lived.

My colleague apparently got quite upset that 'I'was blanking him, and went to confront 'me'.

Only when he was at the guy's table did he realise that it wasn't me.

Spooky....

Similar thing happened to me...
Guy said I blanked him on a Friday night in town, I was wearing a white shirt... trouble convincing him that I wasn’t even out that night, let alone wearing a white shirt.

On another occasion, a girl showed me a photo of her Dad... & he was wearing a shirt that I have.
( Almost a spitting image... double take) yikes

I had one of these the other week. I was out walking the dog and thinking of things I had to do on my car before an event so a bit in my own world. Going past the local pub garden and a woman said hello to me, had a quick look up and didn't fully twig who it was but she looked familiar so I said hello anyway and just carried on walking. Thought about 10 seconds later, balls that was XXX (she runs the business next door to mine, known her for years and I went through school with her brother and sister), thought she will probably think I'm a right unsociable weirdo now so popped in to see her at work the next week to apologise for being a bit aloof.
She had no idea what I was on about, not been to that pub let alone on that day. And she wasn't just winding me up. I'm completely at a loss now as to who it was. This person was the same age, body shape, hair style and colour and even the voice was the same! I don't know anyone else that looks or sounds remotely like her.

Similar but not quite my wife is an identical twin, people regularly mix them up if they don't know them well.

That's 'shopped, surely? Reminds me of Bilbo Baggins when he gets angry.

(I suddenly got nervous when I googled "Angry Bilbo" on a works PC. Sounds like something rude from Urban Dictionary.)
