That sounds very uncomfortable, I hope you're quickly 100% again.

Impromptu opportunity to be an observer on a section at my son’s motorbike trials event this afternoon. Great seeing all the kids of various ages and abilities tackle the section in their own way, from steadily does it to fingers crossed and power through! Most of them doing really well.

Proud dad moment, my daughter Molly about to hand in her final dissertation for her degree in Psychology, her work placement was at a school for kids with special educational needs, so the sort of place where she carried a walkie talkie everywhere and doors in the corridors were locked as well as being threatened with physical violence everyday, well she loved every minute! and will be pursuing a career working with disadvantaged children.

Helping to raise over £2,000 for the Great North Air Ambulance by running an open day with my fellow allotment plot holders made me happy today.

Watching a newly hatched Osprey chick on the Manton bay webcam.

Out in my garden I can hear two competing male Cuckoos wooing the ladies.

Really well one to you. I am a supporter and volunteer for Air Ambulance Kent Surrey and Sussex. Arguably I'm only alive today because of the help they gave to me. Do you still have an on-line collection page? If not I'll drop them a couple of quid and say it's because of the allotment open day.

And also well done to "mcelliott"'s daughter Molly. A nice story to read.

My happy moment is trivial by comparison. About 10 mins ago I realised I'd left one of the handsets for my landline outside all night ............. in the rain. But I dried it off ............. and it still works. Happy days.

We didn't set an online page up, this was all done the old fashioned way by selling raffle tickets, plants, cakes, books, bric a brac, etc. for cash!

Thanks for the congratulations and offer but please send your donatation to the Kent, Surrey & Sussex one as you have the connection with them. smile

1. After 2 weeks I trust the new foster dog enough to let him wander in and out of the house and garden. Made for a lovely chilled morning in the sunshine.

2. Coming across a full-sizes Magnum in the box of mini-magnums.
