The inconsistency, the occasional great drive, more often jogging around the midfield being generally unimpressive and largely forgettable. That's what's predicatable.
I find it hard to believe that, in the same car, on the same track, his personal performance goes from P4 to last in the space of 24 hours.We see it with other drivers, to a lesser extent, too. Something about these cars puts them on a knife edge.
Well, perhaps it was just the tyres on this circuit that upset things. Agree he wasn't the only one to struggle.
If we take this weekends error out if the equation, his time with the new chassis is looking okay at least.
I know we can't forever more say 'he needs more time', and I know that's become a joke... But I'd like to see a few more outings for him. I'm sure I will too, I'm thinking he's got until the summer break to sink or swim.
