The recent news should have set this thread ablaze but it is so big it has 3 separate topics in the sub forum lol. Lewis to ferrari, who will be russels teammate and where will Carlos go...
I’m waiting for the best time to let people know I’ve worked out what’s going on.
Adrian Newey knew that Christian Horner would soon be in trouble. He contacted Ferrari with a view to designing their 2026 car. Ferrari then contacted Lewis Hamilton to let him know they would have an Adrian Newey design to help him with the WDC. Once all the pieces were in place, Newey leaked the Horner story to the press. He will then leave while Red Bull is in disarray, giving Ferrari the best chance to win the WDC and WCC championships in 2026.
Ferrari will then let Newey dedicate his time to designing their entry in the Americas Cup.

Two plus two equals 22.

Excellent stuff. Stranger thigs have happened, particularly in F1.

Is sad, to me, the (apparently low) value of meaningful identity.

Team Owner: "You can't put a price on something as important as the teams identity."

Prospective Sponsors: "We'll pay $xx,xxx, xxx per year to call the team by the name of our brand."

Team Owner: "Where do I sign?"

Indeed. I guess I'll see whether I do feel so affected once teams have gone through a few iterations of title sponsor.

I agree with the above about sponsorship, but if Williams came out with a black bare carbon and copper livery, I really wouldn't mind it smile

Someone’s been watching too much Indycar.

That’s actually not much of an exaggeration in American racing series.

Really? I wrote it as a conspiracy theory joke. Didn't expect any of it to be taken seriously.

Will his contract insist he must always enter the briefing room 3 paces behind Max, with his head bowed?

That's disappointing. If Red Bull continues to have a colossal advantage we as viewers really would have more entertainment if a non-lackey was in the second car there.

Agreed, but will never happen.
