One thing I would watch is a single make road car race with all drivers or a kart race. It's not f1 but it would be entertaining.
I once saw the team managers racing Escort Mexicos at Brands Hatch one year. I think it was a BRSCC event. I was entertaining. The final lap was a thriller, around Clearways. Williams, Brabham and Chapman, Surtees. Just found it on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6BOsesJGqs , 24 Oct 1971. Brilliant commentary.
The event was overshadowed by the death of Jo Siffert.
My suggestions above aren't serious ones but that sort of stuff and the link above I would like to see and are interesting and exciting.
Note the photographer standing on the inside of clearways as they hit the clipping point... scarry!!!

I was there at Druids and remember seeing the pall of smoke from Jo's death. Very sad Just found it on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6BOsesJGqs , 24 Oct 1971. Brilliant commentary.

And Motor Sport magazine criticised Jackie Stewart for pushing for safety, and very low levels of improvement. I didn't renew my subscription. That showed 'em.

Here's a thought. If they ran that now - where would we see the current bunch of F1 team principles?
Horner and Wolff are the only two with any race driving background. The others all seem to be professional engineers and managers rather than racers, so I would expect those two to be out front, probably crashing into each other.thegreenhell said:

They were discussing the 2026 regs on The Intercooler podcast this week and apparently there is genuine concern that the cars will be unable to provide peak power for a full lap of the majority of circuits.
Does anyone have any more info on the regs and development progress? all seems a bit concerning, is it to late for the FIA to tweak the regs?

Quite pathetic isn't it. Meant to be the pinnacle of motor racing. Races will be dictated by tyres and recharging laps. n3il123 said:

What kind of drivetrain can provide peak power for a full lap?
Only the very best.https://2cvracing.org.uk/
