I hope that it sells very well, and that they make a lot of money from it, but I agree with those turned away by the looks, I just don’t like it at all.

It feels a bit of a strange car, too, when their saloons are quite similar in concept and size. It’s not an exact analogy, but it feels a little like small hatchbacks being jacked up and having some black plastic “rugged” plastics attached in that the extra height and mass aren’t adding much to a “normal” RR.
...and yet it is fast becoming the most successful model ever. It's almost like Rolls Royce know their customer base.

The Cullinan was designed on his watch.
Smart watches have come a long way, but that does explain quite a lot.

What a perfect spec for the UAE!
Biggest market for Cullinan is USA
Don't let facts get in the way of cliched comments.
It's not a cliché. I live in the UAE, and a significant proportion (quite possibly the majority) of vehicles are white 4x4s, most notably the ubiquitous Nissan Patrol (elsewhere called the Nissan Armada - what everyone else calls the Patrol, here they call the "Patrol SuperSafari"). There's also an awful lot of FFRRs in white too. It's less about taste and more about what works best when daytime temperature peak over 40C for half the year (starting around now).
I've just come back from Dubai, and yes you are right, although very few Cullinans compared to other high-end SUVs, and compared to my corner of the UK.

....But it still doesn't detract from the fact that the UAE is NOT the Cullinan's biggest market.
Other than you, who in this thread mentioned it was?

The post you quoted "What a perfect spec for the UAE" referred to the specification of the car, which in turn was endorsed by someone else - not sure if you're confused or just misread what was written.

....and the phrase 'biggest market' (US) was mentioned in the post I replied to. I then qualified it with the 'cliché' comment.

It's fully correct.

Well, you do have the choice of other models that aren't SUV-based on offer.

The Cullinan could be exceptional and innovative, instead it’s a mediocre core swathed in vulgarity and excess.

It might not be everyone’s cuppa PG, but at least Ferrari made an effort with the Purelysanguine.
Tell us you've never been in a Cullinan without telling us you've never been in a Cullinan.
I've driven a Cullinan. Its steering is inert, its handling feels unpleasantly artificial, and if hustled it's prone to alarming understeer and brake fade.

All of which is the antithesis of a DBX 707.

But a Cullinan is quiet and has a reasonably comfy ride, but a Wraith's is better.

Tell us you're a pretentious twunt without telling us you're a pretentious twunt.

Don't think white is the best colour for it...
Can’t stand these black editions either ore money to remove some nice long lasting chrome. The. Black finish just peels off bit by bit until the car looks like it’s owned by a down at heel.

Rolls Royce doesn't have the steering feel of an Aston Martin and suffers from brake fade more..... And you are surprised?

It's Rolls Royce, you are intended to feel nothing but luxurious calm.
