Hello PH,
Thanks for you interest and comments.
Sadly to bring out here to UAE any RHD classic older than 10 years the rules here stipulate you are only allowed to use strictly to and from car events/shows. No passengers allowed in your RHD classic either and also only third party insurance available for RHD.
Money always a difficult subject but the ask is way less than the fully invoiced costs of a 9e 28 tuning kit with genuine hybrid 62mm GT2 turbos £26k, b road friendly TracTive, OEM GT2 and RSS chassis upgrades £20k, restoration and PPF at Porsche Special Ops £45k, and genuine new GT2 body kit £50k with all the bits that go behind the GT2 bumpers to and from radiators and intercoolers too. Throw in a donor manual 997.1 turbo with say 40-50k miles and and you're easily at £230k + to build similar from fresh.
Performance is so subjective as with EVs and tuned turbo PDK 911s straight line speed is crazy nowadays but this manual turbo is for the type of owner who only attends maybe one or two track days a year but wants out perform the very latest GT 911s with 95% use on road trips and only wants one 911 for everything. Thats the philosophy behind the build. I'd never sell if my decision but SWMBO wants to sell rather than rack up unnecessary storage costs.

Doesn't rain often out here so will go rwd next and buy a lhd 991.2 GT3 or 997 GT2 probably the GT2. Having said that this was the scene outside my office building a few weeks ago. Maybe a yacht a better shout?!

Get away from southern England and secure storage can be £1300 per year. Pocket change compared to UAE living costs!https://www.123selfstorage.co.uk/classic-car-stora...
Few people stay out in UAE indefinitely...

Sorry to learn you're selling it. You could just store it at 9e where it has been stored for decades. I mean, it's there whenever I go in!Thanks for you interest and comments.
