It sure is, and if you try and sell it you'll be very, very lucky to get £2k for it, because no one wants it...

Just hope you can 'swerve' the watch. smile
Well it definitely seems like I have swerved the watch without any effort. I'm slightly disappointed not to have been offered that particular fight, but maybe new 718 Spyder RS, 911 Dakar and GT3 RS allocations have left the OPC completely "watched out". wink

Order fully placed, deposit paid and acknowledged, spec agreed and then modified a little today. (Went with LED headlights, had forgotten it feels less outrageously expensive than previous PDLS options. I'll try hard not to blind oncoming traffic, motorcyle mirrors, or rainy door mirrors).

Question of watch not even raised a tiny bit, and I don't think anyone has a way of backing me out of the order with watch persuaviseness.

For vicarious spec'ers, the latest is PRX9ZCH9, but it's just my previous WP version with LED headlights added.

I now have a new car build added to MyPorsche account, so I'm nearly ready to stop pinching myself and believe it might really be happening. If I get anything interesting from the build updates, I'll post them here. Got very little during my Cayman 718 GTS 4.0 build last year, certainly no photos of the car being built. I'll be chuffed if it's better this time, but more interested in the car arriving at the dealer than build photos.

OPC have said they think it might be their last ever GT4 RS allocation. Personally, (or maybe cynically), I think that might have more to do with demand rather than supply availability. I'm guessing if there are enough Spyder RS orders, they'll mainly make those. But if there aren't, they will probably look at making a few more GT4 RS. Kind of moot for me. I'd love a soft top car but I live in an area where it's consistently too rainy for it to be a practical proposition.

Congrats on the allocation!

Looking at used examples on the approved site - what was the list price of cars registered after April 23?
Most of the cars have links to their respective online configurations - are these prices on these inclusive of price rises or has the price not changed since April 23.
Cheers.

Last price rise was 29th March 2023, so over 13 months ago now. I have heard rumours of another price rise for MY 2026 - who knows though….

I understand there will be a price rise when production resumes after the summer factory shut down.

Lower than list with the watch included - about £178k all in for that spec with the watch I think.

But car for list, and watch for £2k... A great deal for someone looking for a highly specified allocation that likes the colour, and of course the watch. wink

I'd be more interested if it had the smokers package and leather steering column cover - must haves for me nowadays. biggrin (Kidding, but I am very happy to be able to spec a car for myself...)

Agree, it’s still over list so looks expensive compared to other higher spec cars which are at list or less.

A couple of PTS RS’s from PEC yesterday. They had also just taken delivery of their new 4RS for the fleet, Yellow and Black.

How did you find the 4RS and Was it the new one you drove? I’m heading there to drive the 4RS in 2 weeks time myself also!

Feels value. Quite like those mag wheels but frightening on pot holed UK roads.

Anyone interested in that car should watch his somewhat entertaining track day 'off'......
