Had this over a year now - thinking of manual swap as I’m getting some gearbox hang and whine on the auto.
Drives a peach still love it, great practical and modern enough for me to cart family in with no worries.
Looks tasty, was after a touring when I got my 39er.Drives a peach still love it, great practical and modern enough for me to cart family in with no worries.
Please tell me you want to swap those wheels for some style 33s
IMO the tourings handle the best on 17s; I ran mine on a straight set with 15mm spacers all round on PS4s; it was brilliant to drive

Beautiful, but then I am biased.Remember to check out the E30 Zone forum, loads of helpful info on there and their wiki pages

Can't recall if I've posted before on this thread. Our E91 335i (N54) Touring. Bought last may, 1 owner + BMW, FSH, currently around 150k. Bought for £8k knowing it had niggles, spent near £4k since then getting it straight, and very very nearly there.
Sorted: bodywork. Dent between roof and door repaired. Rear bumber resprayed, plus all 4 doors, just the roof with lacquer peel and blemishes to do. Headlights polished to de-yellow. Alloys restored in Ferric Grey, and 15mm spacers added all round. idrive replaced with Andream MMI. New high end car mats to replace shabby ones. Steering wheel and driver seat refinished by me. New blue starter button. Booth boot and split tailgate repaired so they actually work. Numberplates replaced and front NP plinth removed. Central looking tailgate wiring repaired. Antenna Diversity Module under boot spoiler replaced to get radio working. Replaced indicator repeaters. Walnut blasted to de-coke. Various oil seal filters replaced. 2 extra services done on it. Replaced centre caps for self levelling ones. Currently in having pretty much all of it's NSR wheel bearings and driveshaft components replaced, along with a 4 wheel alignment.
Once the final fettling is completed I plan to: Retro fit powerfold mirrors. Replace manky door sill trims. Upgrade the exhaust to a VRSF Street set up. Replace the charge pipe for a VRSF one. Change the intercooler for an Airtec one. Upgrade the spark plugs. Have a XHP gearbox remap, which is reputed to shave half a second off the 0-60 and make shifts 50% quicker. Have an electrics guy on my phone who I have witnessed (safely) remapping to the tune of +100bhp. Aiming for a total of 450bhp. Possibly fit a Quaife LSD. Upgrade the discs and pads. Finally buy the numberplate AN54 BLU (geeky, but cheapy)
It's a keeper. I think it's only 1/5 Le Mans blue auto M-sport tourings left. I adore the thing.

ThanksThese have a satin finish rather than gloss. They are powder coated so its not paint.
I'm still not sure about them. I asked for Gold. But I'm not sure that is Gold. It appears there are many different Gold colours. They showed me some different Gold options on little cards and I chose one.

A satin bronze would look superb I think...
Very much a personal choice though

Delightful! And a V12 to boot. You lucky, lucky swine! My new to me 2017 BMW M4 Competiton. After 3.5 years and 35k miles in a BMW M2 LCI manual the extra power, refinement and general creature comforts are much welcomed. Particularly the DCT gearbox and adaptive suspension for general driving. HUD/360 cameras which I thought were a must are a bit of a gimmick but nice additions nonetheless. Full extended Silverstone merino leather and the Competiton bucket seats really bring the interior up a notch compared to the M2’s basic M sport dakora leather seats.
This was and is a relatively “cheap” stop gap between M2 and 911.1/2 Carrera S but it may stay a while longer than first thought. I honestly don’t think you can get more for the money. £30,500 for a 2017 30k mile well spec’d example.

M3, manual, 80k miles, all the important bits already done, CSL wheels and the exhaust has been changed at some point, not sure what it is, but it doesn't have the rasp noise when revved.
Only had it since January.
I'm impressed so far.
It won't be a garage queen, but also won't be thrashed everywhere. Hoping to get a good few years of enjoyment out of it.
