I think the ref's just made up a new rule. Goalies can put the ball down in open play and have immunity from the opposition trying to nick the ball. What a load of cobblers.
Utter madness

And then called the WH physio on on behalf of the keeper, who didn't even ask for it. Bonkers.

Adam.

Gakpo should have put that away and let VAR sort it out. The keeper wasn't injured and the ball was in play.
Having been smart, just kick it in the bloody net

Keeper was faking injury after a nothing challenge

I think the ref intervened, realised he'd fked up and then made up an injury for the keeper to hide it.

What a way for our season to just fizzle out. We needed more of that Klopp/Salah passion on the pitch a few games ago - not when it means nothing.

The keeper wasn't even faking it, he was carrying on with the game and didn't see how close Gakpo was. It's all in the ref making the rules up.

Exactly that. Unfortunately, Gakpo has to play to the whistle - and the ref stopped the game with his whistle, rather than let Gakpo get the ball. That was a goal available, all day long. Refereeing and VAR has cost us at least 5 pts this season. Imagine how it screws with other teams. They're a complete shower.

They are a protected species doncha know. They don't need to explain their decisions to no one. They are the righteous ones.

Still had hope. Now it's reality.

I hope we win the next 2 of course but more than anything win at home for Klopp in the last game is all can hope for now.

Klopp refuses to explain the Salah spat:

Ramy Abbas will probably send out cryptic tweet soon.
