Mk7 Golf Sticky Handbrake

My Son who lives in Sweden has a mk7 Golf estate which sounds like it’s got a stuck handbrake. It’s an electric one so I assume it’s either jammed or the actuator had packed or what? anyone had experience of this? Is it a known fault?

pretty sure they're individual calipers. So are both sticking ? just one wheel ? Other ?

Just one wheel which makes me think it’s a sticky calliper or actuator.

A sticking rear calliper is quite a common issue on a MK 7 Golf. Most cost effective fix is to replace the calliper.
