Just seen an advert for this tomorrow (12th may) at Denbies, Dorking.

Does anyone have any experience of it? It's a show for pre 2000 bmws.

Although mine is a bit newer, I'm quite close so might take a wander.

Well, for everyone else who was curious but didn't know, I headed over to this.

A smattering of 60s and 70s beemers, but multiples of 80s and 90s metal, all looking very nice.

Quite a few modern ones over to one side, and a few show car examples.

No real merchandise or sales stands - but Denbies gift shop had plenty of overpriced tat should one wish to shop.

An Audi had made it into the enclosure - probably tailgated someone in.

A discovery was there also, which had probably broken down the day before.

We also spotted an xfr, but that's ok because he's got a jaaaag.

I to made my first appearance and Denbies today, seeing as I too live locally and have been using BMR to look after my 2 E39 for the past 7 years, it seemed rude not to.

The old

And the new

I'm now looking forward to the M and Alpina event on the 1st September.

How did you find out about it?

I've been there a few times as there is an informal car meet on the first Sunday of every month.

Anyway I've put 1 September on the calendar. It'll give my Z4M Coupe a run out!
