I have this type of mixer tap in the bathroom and there is an issue at the point where the U shaped outlet goes into the body of the tap, Some brown water is seen so i am assuming that something is rusting and the U outlet is not properly seated in the body of the tap.

I cannot see how I can fix this, any ideas anyone?

Thanks

There may be a tiny screw on the back of the main body where the neck slides in.
Unscrew then slide the neck out. Change the rubber o ring.

Thank you

I had run my fingers round the back of the tap and felt nothing, I convinced myself that it was some sort of push fit.

I put a mirror behind the tap and there it is, a tiny grub screw. Next job is to get the Allen keys out.

Thanks again, I appreciate your time in replying

I wish all jobs went that well

First Allen key I touched was the right size, grub screw came out nicely. spout came away.

Cleaned it all up, including the aerator, dab of silicone grease on the O rings, noted where the recess was for the grub screw, refitted it all and job done

Thanks again,
