So my partner's Fiesta's ABS light has just come on a few weeks after an MOT/Service, so I'm assuming it's likely not a fluid levels issue, but more likely a sensor or module issue. It's an older car 2006 (I think) Fiesta and I've looked up some prices for the parts, but wondered if the many minds on here would have a rough idea what replacement for a module or sensor would cost?

I can ring a garage tomorrow for a price, but wondered if anyone knew what would be likely/'reasonable'; as reasonable as the price for anything is based on the South coast.

We're hoping to change our vehicles from 2 to 1 soon, but wasn't sure if this was an easy job or one of those faffy jobs that needs half the car taking apart and a £50 part turns into £300+ labour etc and this may speed things up a bit.

Cheers.

My wife’s old cars ABS light came on.
After I exercised it, emergency stop on a clear road, it went away.
Worth a try?, maybe just software etc

Might be worth a try, it's lucky if it gets driven once a week, so I did wonder if it was maybe just some gunk on the discs/pads maybe.
