I'm starting to get everything together to do my double garage in Dottis, am interested knowing if anyone knows of a cheaper source/alternatives. Im currently seeing if I can get a discount on £2.18 (inc vat) a tile, I'll report back with what I can get them for.
Just looked back on my Invoice from 2019 and i paid £0.99 per tile + vat on a qty of 1600 tiles.
They came from http://www.directtilewarehouse.com/

Looking now they are as you say £2.18 per tile

I also used the same ramp @ £49.99 per length

Schluter RENO-RAMP-AE Flooring Transition Ramp Matt Silver Anodised
Aluminium 2.5m Lengthb Product Code: AERP125B90

PVC garage tiles - anybody found a good cleaning fluid to remove paint spots, grease and dust to give it a good spring clean?
I've always just used washing up liquid on mine. It probably wont get dried paint off though!

Is the general consensus that painting a concrete floor is a fairly pointless endeavour and tiles all the way despite the increased cost?

I wouldn’t say it is a pointless endeavour, but you’ll probably have to don’t again at some point. Whereas tiles are once and done.

Mine is a dusty damp mess that is too embarrassing to even post on the single garages thread and at the moment it has a sheet of loose lino down which actually works alright but I have horrible feeling I’m cultivating something awful underneath it. Currently in the process of tidying and painting the walls but I’ll have to tackle the floor at some point and budget it tight.

I went latex screed and then floor tiles on top… really easy to keep clean (though the tiles do mark a little)
