They could have put it where the three-drawer unit is on the right hand side of the picture and then put a normal cupboard in the corner with those 270-degree shelving units that rotate round when you open the door.

Also, “…truly out of this world.”

No. No it isn’t. It is both of and on this world.

Sweet baby Jesus … no, no you didn’t …

That makes me want to smash it up. Awful.
Not only looks awful but can you lmagine the look on the engineers face when he has to repair it?
Never mind that, how many times will you smack your head on the corner of the worktop everytime you empty the bloody thing?

There’s at least a couple of hundred pounds worth of worktop that would have to come out if it needs to be replaced or even repaired, madness I tell you!

Its not even that small of a kitchen!
Surely a large corner unit with the dishwasher beside would be a much, much better solution

Designed and built by someone who has never been in or ever seen a normal kitchen. It's wrong on so many levels.

What I don't get is why the sink unit has to be so far forwards at all? If there's enough depth for a dishwasher then why couldn't the sink unit be the same depth as it? The get rid of the stupid sliver of work surface bridging the left-hand cupboards and the dishwasher and it would be much better.

Dishdrawer is the answer - single unit installed at floor level under the sink with small custom cupboard to house the sink.

Then regular corner cupboard unit where current dishwasher is. Though I’m also not sure why the sink is so far forward.

The cost of the dish drawer will be outweighed by the ease of use and the fact that the kitchen won’t need to be dismantled to service it.

Funny, I'm not from that part of the world and have always done it per the one on the right, but now to me it looks better in the one on the left. Not sure which county I have just upset .....

Haha, here we go! The Devonshire way (on the left for the uneducated) is the correct way. Wars have been fought for less. If you really want to wind your wife up tell her pasties are a Devonshire creation too…

This is something that I don't understand. Well, I suppose I could if we go down the Peach Melba route...

What does make me scratch my head is why cars need a Devonshire or Cornwall bumper sticker with either cream first or jam first on them. It all tastes the same!
