In your garden?!
Yeah, there's a pair of young 'uns that come across from time to time, we're in central Scotland which helps explain it!

After a few weeks of weeding, pond building and replanting, I’m going to enjoy my garden today with no work at all.

Jetwashing was happening in my garden today.

I'll oil it all once it's dry.

Wow. How did they get in there or does the mother live in that pot too?
She nurtures them in there. We think it's for the extra warmth from the compost and soil in the pot. She still likes to curl up in a flower pot sometimes as well biggrin

Sticks.

First flowering of a birthday present

Seed grown foxgloves, lupins and stocks for the bees!

A rose in its third year that really done the 'leap' this season. It's grown from about 2ft to this.

Peonies and others coming through fast(this was about 2 weeks ago) but it does seem later than last year

Retrieving some compost from an old pile that's been growing nettles for years. Hard work, but it's lovely stuff.

Been busy cutting paths around the meadow, and enjoying the oxeye daisy which has been spectacular. We even have sweet pea growing in our grazing field - we are picking bunches of this size daily. The scent in the house is quite something!

This week:

Slugs have eaten the montbretia
Slugs have eaten some carrots my wife decided to plant
Something has eaten the sage
Foxes have shat repeatedly on the lawn and one of them wasn't very well by the looks of things

Tonight’s slug murdering session resulted in no dismembered slugs. Their numbers are definitely down on last week, so maybe the nematodes are doing their job.

Love my garden & this year the it seems to have burst into life the last three weeks or so. Crappy wet winter must have given it more energy.

Pic heavy I’m afraid…
