We sent the company an email stating the issues that we have, they are sending around a boss next week.

Hopefully things can be resolved sensibly.
What’s the expectation? Unburn the wood and make the fittings leak? Or get money off?

Tray is set onto the floor beams on some plywood. Floor boards have been cut around it.

I am doing wet wall shower panels, they are going to be stuck to 6mm ply fixed to the batten framework. I have tanked the ply and will be using bottom U trims with some adhesive / sealant to keep the water in place.

There is another story with the battens.
Do you have the manufacturers instructions for the shower tray? I would insist it is installed to that spec. I can't imagine they recommend using foam to stick it down? I thought the standard was flexible tile adhesive or bed of mortar. Also, quality of the tray will play a big part, foam may be inadequate if it's a cheap tray that already has a bit of flex.

Was mainly interested in the walls to make sure they hadn't put any plasterboard in there, but sounds like it should be OK with the panels.

Not sure on the U trims you mention, so not sure how they work, but if you can get the following to work in your installation, it may provide some additional security:

There's other types that might work as well.
