Of course it would be wonderful to win but how can you be unhappy with 89 points
Our progression if fantastic. Best thing is it’s sustainable progress and a young squad.

Leeds fan here.

Fair fks for taking it to the last day of the season, made the big boys league almost worth watching for us in the cheap seats.

Although it pains me to say it, I think that there might still be dancing in the streets of Woolwich…Forest and Everton both had points deducted this season for singular counts of breaches of FFP and City are facing 115 charges….maybe your Chairman might make a call in the morning to the premier league to enquire what the fking hell is going on? The whole thing stinks!

Was a terrific performance this season. Being beaten to the title by a team like City is no disgrace, albeit disappointing. Onwards and, hopefully, upwards.

I don't think that'll be settled for another couple of years at least, or certainly well into next season, and I imagine any points deductions would either be current or retrospective to the season where the breaches happened, which was like 2013-2018 or something wasn't it?

I fear it will all be swept under the carpet in some way.

You may well be right. City certainly have the money to stretch it out for so long it'll cost the FA too much, and they'll 'settle' for some minor punishment.

Either way, the aim for us has got to be to forget about that and win without any deductions from our rivals. We were so close this year, I really hope we can kick on and be even better next! I don't see why we can't, we've played some great football for most of the season!

Great season and a young team who will get better over the next two or three years. I guess we probably had to score before City today to try and put some pressure on them didn't happen that way but we gave a might fine account of ourselves.

The club is in rude health, we've got a fantastic manager a squad full of players who are the envy of most clubs in the league and some owners who have shown real commitment and a genuinely engaged fan base with a club that really values the fans...The Emirates has been transformed over the last two years. Exciting times !

I am not sore about it, at least I will get 90 minutes of comedy club on a Thursday evenings as Spurs struggle to score and then concede two goals against a team nobody has heard of.

Arsenal dropped 2 points in reality today, that was such a bad call on the second goal.

Arsenal had a good season, but happy city won. I can stomach 115 charges FC winning stuff as we all know they don’t count!

Another season with no trophy. Improvement on last season though. Should have done better in the cups.

The real story is how the Gooners bottled it, again. Quite happy with our season overall, we finished realistically where we deserved with the current squad.
Go on, I'll bite; explain how we bottled it. Continue on a separate Rizzla paper if necessary, red of course.

Obviously not happy with finishing second but overall very pleased with the season as a whole. Improvements and progression over last season so moving in the right direction. 2 to 4 more players in certain positions and get rid of some of deadwood should hopefully see the team take the next step. Looking forward to August already.

Yes same. Exciting transfer business already planned by all accounts and the board seem to be willing and able.

Cant be looking at City and the 115 at this stage as I want the glory of winning it on the pitch! There are a lot of positives!

I think it is fair to say in the Cup’s we could have done better but it is needs must when it comes to squad management. Villa game was in the middle of the Bayern games. Squad can’t cope with those game.

Saliba played every minute of every PL game and plenty more were right up there in minutes this season (e.g. Rice, Saka and Odegaard). Man City players nowhere to be seen in that league table.

I guess we need to ultimately get to a stage where we have 18 to 20 players who are all good enough to be in the starting XI every week but get rested/rotated as needed.

Elneny, Nketiah, Nelson, Cedric are all leaving I imagine and then we have Vieira and ESR. The first four need to be replaced with a couple of high quality players.
