Generally boring race until Norris came out of his pain phase with the tyre and then we could've done with 3 more laps. Think Norris' overdriving cost him the chance of a couple of DRS runs down the back straight.
Agreed! It was only the last 3 laps, will LN pass MV or not, that kept my interest in the race.
I'm seriously considering not bothering with the whole race next week & just watching any highlights

procession fest next stop. Monaco.
I watched some of the Historic race there last weekend and it made such a change to see skinny cars passing each other. Just impossible with these F1 cars and i've never enjoyed the race or bought into the "tension" seeing one car closely follow another for the lead. But with the amount of money swilling around there, they 100% could make the track more interesting. However, for some random reason, F1 allows itself to be bossed by the ACM and its refusal to even consider altering the layout.
As it is, it’s interesting for a lap or two as one remembers the ridiculous-ness of racing cars around there, then you recall how dull it is and just count down the time until the Indy 500 starts
It's not the track's fault. The current cars are too big and heavy, the aero concept designed for high speed and there really hasn't ever been much overtaking there, anyway. Senna and his 20ft wide car back in the day etc.
It really needs to rain and/or safety cars to make it interesting.

Excellent end to the race, and great to see Lando right up there again. Piastri 14 seconds adrift though, again showing that he’s nowhere near as good in the race as he is over one lap.
Started 5th and finished 4th on a track which is very difficult to pass on.
I would not rush to come to that conclusion.

Memories of 1992, when Senna pulled every trick in the book, and then made a up a few new ones, to keep Mansell behind him in the closing stages.
