Drove from the NE over to Bury today, usual route A1, M1, M62 etc. Saw 4 different vehicles all with the number plate beginning in BO55 I assume it's to spell BOSS, the one other thing they had in common on the journey they were all being driven like they were trying to leave the grid in an F1 race! Inside lane undertaking at speed, racing at 80 miles an hour after the overhead gantries stated 50 and road signs warning of congestion after the next junction etc. I observed this over the journey time of 2 and a bit hours, so saw these individual cars at different times and places on my journey, my question to the PH collective is do they get the number plate and then join an underground gang of like minded drivers with the same BO55 plates who conspire to drive like utter bellends? Audi A7, BMW 540i, RRS and a Vauxhall Astra VXR.

As stated different times and places across the journey not all together unless they were in contact and on their way to the very secret BO55 car meet????

There are quite a few BO55 plates illegally butchered to read BOSS thus bringing the cringeworthiness of these plates and their owners to a whole new level. hurl

The only plate worse than a BO55 plate is a CEO plate.

I went for a job interview once and the there was a boss plate in the adjoining companies car park, it was on ratty looking 530d and the accompanying director getting out was far from powerfully built,

Gotta defend some of the B16 plates.
If this is on an old Honda Civic it may be referring to the engine, a B 16. There's also B18, H22, K20 etc.

Reminds me of the Police Camera Action TV programme some years back where the infamously moronic
'B1G BOL' and his illegally butchered plated (B16 BOL) vehicle was pulled over and ticketed by a young rookie Traffic WPC despite his protestations and hilarious levels of entitlement. laugh

Top comedy for sure.

A place I worked had a separate compound for the maintenance staff. Whenever I ventured past it I noticed there was a BMW with a BO55 plate and a home made "Reserved for Mr Smallprick" (name may have been slightly different in reality) sign taped on the side of the unit to stop the cleaners from nabbing his space.

From an overhead conversation between the cleaning staff he insisted on being called "Mr Smallprick" rather than by his first name... In an environment where even the most senior people were addressed by first names, including by the cleaners, that was quite telling.

There's "EV11 MUM" and "EV11 DAD" not far from me. I think they're quite clever.

Obviously a man who wanted the world to know he was partial to a large plate of spaghetti bolognese and/or a large glass of blue curacao. biggrin

Don't forget 007 plates, for a less aggressive, but no less tragic 'type'.
