It’s deteriorating quite badly and it’s currently fenced off to prevent anyone getting too close in case it should fall.

Not for your average visitor, no. But we insiders (also known as members) get unlimited parking in any of the car parks around Windsor Great Park plus unlimited entry to Savill Garden for £90 a year, it's suddenly not expensive. I live on the edge of the park and try to go for a walk with local friends every Friday morning (work/weather permitting) followed by a coffee or lunch at the VW Pavillion, the Savill Building, the Fox & Hounds or the Bailiwick depending on how far we've walked and where we started from. It's so much nicer than at weekend when it feels like the whole of London descends!

To be fair to that one - the space to the right is much narrower than a car. You could probably only just squeeze three into that gap if the one on the left also overhangs to the left a bit. Which is what I suspect has happened.

We have moved further afield so havent been for ages, but used to hate walking the lake at the weekend due to the amount of people. Used to prefer walking up to the polo fields, and into the great park side.

Don't like to rag on the feds, but I thought this was unnecessary and arrogant. Not on blues, driving very slowly, knocked on door.
Road is designed so you park half on the pavement kinda deal (continuous dropped kerb).

I lived in Egham for 5 years and went there a few times, but parked for free in the lay-bys on the A30.

But now you have to pay to park in them as well - I doubt I'll be going again!

Hugely petty from me today.
My wife had already gone out but a car had parked over the dropped kerb by our drive entrance despite the actual half a mile clear space behind him. I knew he was a customer of our neighbour the phone repair guy.

I had to go into the garage so while I was out I reversed my car out and parked it as close as parking sensors would allow to his front bumper ensuring he’d need to reverse before pulling away.

Karma ensued when my security camera picked up his wife / partner / etc walk across my drive to get to his car.

You could argue that this is sensible parking, gives everyone more room to open doors etc. however given the off centre parking I'm going to suggest it's more a case of this is what happens when people rely on parking sensors.

Local village earlier, we have limited street parking, why oh why do we have so many dorks here, this is often the case and half a car lengths between cars as well.
