Can't remember exactly some old and tatty 4x4 I think.

Seem to remember he had the 'unbutchered' plates in the boot hoping this old chestnut would come to his rescue as a defence.

Unsurpringly the WPC was having none of his bullst and it didn't; adding to the overall hilarity. laugh
Meanwhile you’re driving around in a shouty ‘look at me’ 911. Oh the irony.
The major irony being that driving my car is not an offence. rolleyes

Funny enough I saw this recently on Youtube. bloke was a complete numpty, and she was brilliant, having none of his BS and slapped him with a fine. Good on her.

The only plate worse than a BO55 plate is a CEO plate.

Currently on a MB S350 CDI.

Even more tragic than BO55 is BC55 with a screw cap in the opening of the letter C

I am probably in a minority but I think just about all “personalised plates” are a bit sad. I saw E46 BMW the other day and I thought what is the point? Everyone knows it’s a BMW and anyone nerdy enough to know it’s an E46 will know it is. I can’t say I’ve ever seen a plate and though oh that’s good but probably just me

Agreed. Tells me the owner likely has an over inflated opinion of themselves.

I think if I went to view a car for sale and it was on a boss plate I’d simply walk away. It would tell me all I needed to know. They are, pretty much every time I’ve seen one, driven by tools and ragged to bits.

CYA is quite popular too.

Anyway, I LOVE BOSS PLATES - from the genuine BO55 to the tragic BD55. It enables you to identify them from hundreds of metres away.

According to money saving expert, of all places, it was a silver VW Touareg. Police Interceptors S07E08.

Great if you are into a Hondas, but only another Honda fan would have any clue. Everyone else including a lot of Petrolheads would just see BIG, etc….

The only real exception would be something like F40 on an F40, because most petrolheads would know that one.
Disagree! Think it depends on how far you want to broaden your knowledge about cars in general.

I am ashamed to admit that I did once think briefly about getting BO55 ROB to go on my Black RRS....... I did realise after a bit of thought I'd probably look a total tt & decided not to.

For some reason about a year ago I bought a plate on the basis that it made me laugh

Definitely a reminder that wine and the dvla website are a bad idea !

FF54WTF - FFS 4 WTF

I cannot even consider putting it on a vehicle - cringe fest !

Luckily it only cost me £160 all in ...

Someone will buy it, there is M155 WTF round the corner and that is one of the few plates I like.

There is a Boss one as well, Range Rover and I personally wouldn’t, do t think the BO55 of any credible company would either, smacks of pallet yard, call centre or plumbers merchants, nothing wrong with those noble professions but don’t think anyone high up in a FTSE 100 company rocks a BO55 plate…

There used to be a tatty old Range Rover Sport that parked outside our building sporadically with the plate WH05 BOS, me and my partner had a good laugh every time we saw it, never did figure out who Bos was
