It does give it a special feeling looking at that, when sitting in such car with that.
Well yes, if you want fond recollections of your gran’s living room ..

Never much mention here of the 997 Black Edition - is that as they are super rare (manual just 5 in the country?) or that they are not really all that?

Wow, I love that too. Never seen one, or the baby blue one either.

I'd forgotten about those.

Weren't they the very last knockings of the 997?

Nordic Gold is horrendous in real life and that is from someone who owned a period 350Z in "Dale Winton Orange".

The 987.2 Boxster black edition gets some love in Boxster circles.

That looks on great condition, in particular considering the miles.

Would you mind sharing which detailer you used and whether you were happy with value for money?
I'm based in Basel, Switzerland. The detailer was Kamber Autopflege (https://www.autopflegekamber.ch/).
I have used them before a couple of times and while they are not amongst the top of the world detailers, they are very good and they have worked on high class stuff before. But prices in Switzerland are very high. And I don't know what the price was, because I have not yet recieved the invoice wink
After your kind recommendation I booked with him. Picked it up today and am super happy with the end result!

Do enjoy your car, especially with the current weather wink
Last Monday I drove the Grand Tour route from Basel to St. Ursanne and back through the french countryside. I can highly recommend driving

With the latest 992.2 being launched with no manual option, its nice to know there are alternative 3.6 manuals becoming more desirable
Just ticked over 60,000 miles.
