Morning all, my old Lindstrands one piece leathers are nearing retirement and I am looking to replace them. Has anyone got any recommendations or avoids? I haven't got a budget set but I would say up to about £1200 or so. Thanks in advance.

At that budget maybe with a bit of creep you are into custom made option.

BKS are one but RST also offer bespoke.

The off the shelf RST options are really good at less than your budget including an airbag.

You really need to decide if you want a brand name like Dianese, an airbag suit, bespoke etc. and go from there.

I am not fussed by Dainese etc as I feel that you are paying for a name to some extent. I had considered the RST custom range as they seem to be doing some good stuff lately as a brand. I just wish that Lindstrands still did a one piece as they have been superb. I raced in them (and a previous set), had some hefty crashes and they are still going strong.

I don't think you'll get BKS M2M for under £2.5k.

A slight increase in your budget may get you an off the peg Hideout suit https://www.hideout-leather.co.uk/product/hideout-... and Hideout, like BKS, make suits that meet the higher EN 17092 standard

Liking that very much, had forgotten about Hideout. Also like the fact the EN rating is higher. Cheers for that

+1 for Hideout thumbup

I have Hideout leathers and hugely recommend them. The leather is top quality (I recommend choosing perforated leather over unperforated), Hideout’s service is excellent, and you can’t underestimate the comfort of made-to-measure.
