Folks,

Discovered a couple of slow leaks in the radiator side tank welds on my '94 400.

In anticipation of replacing the radiator, I had a couple of questions for the forum:

1) Any guidance regarding "upgrading" to an all aluminum unit, vs replacing it with the same type as the oiginal?
2) Suggestions/recommendations for parts source (with emphasis on replacement fitting properly, quality)

Thanks in advance
Guy

I think most get the original repaired, there have been reports of Aluminium ones not lasting.

I have an ACT aluminium rad in my 450. It was fitted before I bought it, but have to say the quality looks excellent. No issues at all since I've had the car.

£460 on their website. Seems to be a few other aluminium radiators on Ebay, your decision on them!

As per the below a bunch of us seem to have one from Aaron Radiators. Sure, people hint that aluminium rads can crack more than traditional copper, but personally I've had no issues in the 8-9 years.
