Maybe if he didn’t keep threatening potential witnesses the judge wouldn’t feel the need to restrict his legal team’s knowledge of the case schedule?

Agreed. I was in Houston all last week. I know it’s a bit more blue than some more rural areas of Texas, but I think the only Trump-labelled thing I saw all week was a faded bumper sticker on some stbox pickup.

I really should stop following the news, but the constant pathetic attempts by Trump and his lawyers are a case study of just ridiculous behavior and how the legal system can be manipulated and played, if you have the money.

From the stupidity of Trump claiming that only the guilty take the 5th, yet doing it himself hundreds of times. To the bizarre situation where the Trump lawyers attempted to try and undermine the evidence around what Trump said when it was recorded by the news and CSPAN. Seriously, its CSPAN! You dont call into question CSPAN and what it is screening UNEDITED - but yes, Trump's lawyers just decided that this was an excellent opportunity to drag out the whole affair because they could. Shame.

Trump attorney Todd Blanche asked for a mistrial based on Stormy Daniels' testimony. Judge Merchan says he doesn't think a mistrial is warranted.

Merchan says "the witness was somewhat difficult to control," but that team trump's objections were largely sustained and he was surprised there weren't more: "The defense has to take some responsibility."

Obviously didn't like Daniels trying to describe the details, or that trump didn't wear a condom, or how long etc

Hoffinger asks Daniels to describe it "briefly."
Stormy starts to say: "We were in missionary position for..."

Defense: Objection, your honor.
Judge: Sustained!
