TT ADVICE AMENDMENT

Bom, I've done the maths. Buy the Aston.

Purchase Price = Total Available Budget

Running costs covered under the heading of Normal Household Expenditure.

It took me all evening to work it out, but I think we're there.

Good morrow fellow Trivialities everywherewavey
I managed an incredible 6 straight hours of sleep last night!! bowtie
I feel almost human this morning!!! woohoo

The day appears to be dawning bright and dry, the birds are singing in the trees, my cold is finally gone, and I feel pretty good........... someone's going to fk it all up aren't they?!?

After getting the satnav to update to 2017 in Ivor, I was told by the seller to try updating to 2023, which I tried, and as with the 2017 update the timer on the stereo shut off the power, so I just restarted it, however, unlike the 2017 update the 2023 is refusing to continue!! frown

Thought I'd best make an appearance following my recent absence, I was very saddened to learn the news about dear old pequod. RIP old fella, good sort he was.

I'm afraid things aren't so great here, Futtette's not in a good way following the loss of her son. Grief counselling is the next thing on the cards, hopefully there'll be some way forward there.

I've sold the old Yamaha, probably getting too bloody old for buggering about like that anyhow.

"What's that you're looking at now, you old goat?"

"Little Toyota, I'm trying to be sensible"

"Looks like a V12 Vanquish from here"

" Does it? They're both silver"
wavey you old loony.

Big hugs to Miss Futtette from the Slopeseseseses

Morning all, it's misty here

and I've got a day of paperwork and software, interspersed with meetings.

Good morning everyone. Damp and misty here. It should be a reasonable day weather wise but not so good for agent M as she has an ear infection and is sporting a collar at the moment. She’s told me she’s proper pissed off with it and please take it off.

Public holiday here so all is quiet and will probably continue that way as I’m not allowed to fire up my strimmer on a public holiday!

A walk out somewhere nice I think and hopefully remove the collar for a while as long as she doesn’t stop to scratch her poorly ear.

Fout.

Very misty here, due to burn off late morning

In an attempt to stave off boredom, I'm attending a talk today on problems and maintenance of old buildings

I'll be in the office later, as they turn off the water for the day to reposition pipes in the bathroom. Started washing at 06:45 to get a couple of loads through before they arrive!

Good to hear from you Bom, but sorry to hear of the circumstances of your absence. I hope that Futette gets some emotional respite with the counselling. A deeply harrowing ordeal to have to endure frown Thoughts with.

Thanks for the Snoopy again, hammo.

Magoo: am I right in thinking that you have holidays today and tomorrow, then Friday is a "mandatory day off"? Or is the Friday just what the French bras of my company enforces?

Yes today being VE Day then tomorrow being Ascension day then most are having a Friday bridge day. A few shops open for the morning but not much going on.
Service at our local cenotaph at 11 am in local village as usual.

Yesterday Sarah Key-Flookers said that today would be largely dry, and on the other TV channel, Loosey was Very Samey. And Dawn was lovely to see first thing. cloud9
It's looking pretty good for a Wednesday so there's no sign of a hump here. ( Not counting those 'horrible clumps of tarmac that blight our local road network that could be better used to fill in all the ancient historic potholes that blight our disintegrating roads.) rolleyes

Good to see you back posting on here, Bomma, but I'm feeling sad for poor Futtette. Awful what she's going through, please give her a big Robbopops hug of comfort.
An Aston probably won't vanquish her sorrow, but it may make things a bit more bareable.
Even without an air scarf.
Bet you're both going to miss that big exciting throbbing thing between yer legs...

Magoo, sorry to hear Agent M is ailing and having to endure wearing the Cone of Shame as well as suffering a poorly lug'ole. frown It's just not fair, is it?

Bobbers, glad you're back in fine fettle, fending for the failings and phuckups of fickle fellows who should be performing better.

Moustache now, phings ter do.
Us retirees never get a bloody day off you know. wink
