We can laugh, but this is the team that held us to 2 draws in the league and put us out of the FA Cup. frown

That FA Cup quartet was a travesty.

Seeing them get tonked is always enjoyable whatever the recent history.

Ange… plenty of class, but zero ability wink
He's started to remind me of Big fat Sam (Not only with his one dimensional tactics, but he actually looks like him)

He's been well found out now he's as good as done, such a shame. hehe

Adam.

It's a stain on our club that he managed to score against us.

One of, if not the worst attacker in the league.

Interesting comment albeit lacking a little context.

I think both comments were somewhat tongue in cheek.

He plays very entertaining football and seems a decent guy to work for, just ran out of squad depth. He needs some proper backing by Levy to update the squad.

Reading last night that Nunez deleting LFC content (apparently all but a pic from when he arrived) followed him leaving the pitch after the game before anyone else - stalking off without looking at anyone, while everyone else was shaking hands. Clearly not a happy boy - but then he came on looking tense too. Maybe a new coach can get inside his head better.

Nunez has clearly forgotten he has a Twitter/X account then, that was still full of LFC stuff last night.

That's it! He's a schizophrenic!

Given most players don't even manage their own SM accounts, it is all a bit odd.

He had the new manager 'bounce' for the first few months but he looks like he's out of his depth to me, ok for the 2 horse race scottish league, but he will

struggle massively next year for sure now he's been found out, He has absolutely no plan B by the looks of it, not good enough for the Prem league top 6 by

a long way .

I like Big Ange and actually think he's decent. Has he got the players to implement his vision? Not sure.

Interesting season for both Liverpool and Spurs fans next season.

Agree completely. I'd include United in that too.

I'd be more worried about my own team if I was you.

Star striker might leave, Klopp on the way out, new boss's only experience is in a 2nd tier euro league.
I agree with this.

Expectations need to be reigned in for us (Liverpool) I think.

Unless we find a striker or two with some shooting boots we will struggle to maintain 3rd.
Whatever their season long stats are Diaz and Nunez have been criminal in front of goal in games that mattered. And if he stays we are about to find out if Salah is in decline or if it's a dip in form. We have been a top side when Salah is on fire, merely very good when he isn't for any length of time

I can see Spurs fighting for fourth but can't see them kicking on, although will be interesting to see their VdV next season as I reckon he could become the best centre half in the league.

I like Ange as well and think he will make a decent fist of it - they'd be a different prospect had they kept Kane.

I disagree about Kane. I think Spurs losing Kane has galavanised their team, certainly in the first half of the season. There was too much focus and plaudits thrown at Kane (rightly so) that in my view that overshadowed a lot of the other players there. Same when we had Gerrard.

I think Ange has done a great job - if they can offload Richarlison and get a quality striker, keep players fit/injury-free then they'll definitely be challenging top 3 or 4 next season IMO.

I'm happy to cut Diaz some slack as he's had 2 bad injury's and he always looks dangerous... Nunez however I've pretty much given up hope with him,

I also believe there is a player in Gakpo once we decide where his best position is, Salah is probably going, Just need to somehow keep Jota fit.
