personally i'd go for Giggsy but im making the point that there is nothing to lose in trying something like this now to give us a shot at playing football in the final .. Ten hag cannot manage the team next season surly not.
Giggs???
I very much doubt he’ll ever be back at United in any professional capacity
and why's that, he's been cleared of all the trumped charges against him, he's won everything and knows everything there is to know about the game and the club.
Might as well bring Ole back if your going for giggsy
may as well, at least now you've grasped the point of making a change whilst there's still time.
While I get the sentiment it won’t happen, and would be a pointless endeavour

Anyone watch the CL semi? A very well drilled and coached Dortmund side full of failures, rejects and old men just made it to the final.

While it's good to see Dortmund in the final, Sancho can fk off. Stole a living at United and now decides he wants to play.

Yeah mixed blessings. I'm happy for Sabitzer, his time here was ruined by injuries (shock) but there is a good player there. Sancho though, apart from raising his price, can jog on. We needed all the help we could get this season, and he's swanning off over there putting in more effort per game than his time here.

At least no state clubs in the final, proper teams again. Thats good [well it's debateable about Real, so come on Bayern].

Ten hag and his signings are terrible that says it al for me they are never going to be good enough, Honestly if Onana was born in manchester he'd be selling bobble hats on bury market by now, we need a manager who see's value in players that are actually utd fans like Cole palmer who is the lastest we missed out on and trippier a few years back to name just a few these lads would run through a brick wall for the utd cause, not like the crap we buying from timbuktu on stupid wages. It's not all about skill we need dedicated players up for the honor of wearing the shirt. we need someone who knows what it takes to be a utd manager not just whoever is available. eg Paul ince, Giggsy, Keano are all better options to finish the season with a chance to install some confidence and have a go at city in the final.
Ince, Giggsy or Keano - comedy post surely?

If there's one lesson we've learned it's that SAF's home grown players are almost exclusively, crap managers. You may as well hire Ronnie Pickering.

Should we try this again?

Did anyone else see what a well coached, well organised team with clear tactics and player instructions can do? It’s a team that creates and sells its star players. Forget Sancho, there were 10 other players on the pitch with him, including Sabitzer.

Playing with heart and enthusiasm
Well-drilled and each player giving his best
Defending as if their lives depended on it
Chasing, tracking back, hassling PSG and throwing themselves into blocks and challenges
Communicating with and covering for each other.

Just an absolute joy to see a team perform to 100% of its capabilities.

Compare and contrast.

I'm sure you would be giving your 100% working in a toxic environment and being managed by a clown

Yes I get he earns millions and should be professional etc etc but he is a human at the end of the day

We have ruined plenty of players over the years.

I reckon if Sancho was under Klopp or Pep he would be a world beater. Let's be honest

I'm sure Gigg's brother Rhodri would approve if he gets the job.

Moyes got the push because he didn't make top four in his first season - surely Ten Bob must have this in his contract too? LvG won the FA Cup and was sacked the next day from memory. Not sure what INEOS are waiting for ... another four defeats? They'll look as clueless as your other owners if so ...

He came with a reputation for being a bit petulant so I'd doubt they'd have had him in the first place.
Neither has been perfect in the market but they both seem pretty big on player attitude.

Keane, Giggs or Ince would be mental to be honest. If going down that route I'd give it Ole to bring good vibes for the next 4 games.

However there are plenty of good managers out of work, who may be interested in an interim appointment until the end of the season.

Flick, Lopetegui, Mourinho, Conte, Blanc, Queiroz etc

Or how about De Boer, he won the Dutch league so must be an amazing manager

Or Rudi Garcia, he reached a Champions League semi final half a decade ago so must equally be an amazing manager smile

On a serious note Ten Hag should have been gone in October, the only thing that kept him is the ownership change.

At this stage we should get rid, put an interim in charge to save us further embarrassment, and then appoint someone longer term come the end of the season.

In terms of the manager surely you have to take a deep breath and have some faith in the new management structure?
If they are as good as their reputations then it should work out.

Same at Liverpool next season. New club management setting the direction not a personality manager running the show.

Not sure I like it but it seems that's the plan for both clubs.

I mentioned a few weeks back we have a run of games against teams who have already beaten us this season. Of our final 9 matches this season, the only teams that haven't already beaten us are 3 Championship teams (Sheffield United, Coventry, Burnley).

The other 6 (Bournemouth, Palace, Arsenal, Newcastle, Brighton, City) already took 3 points off us.

If we were to lose the league games we have remaining it would mean 2 wins (Sheffield United, Everton) in 13 league matches.

I have to agree i can't see the point of waiting another minute to sack Ten bob, there is no way he can manage the club next season anyway, act now to have a very small chance giving city a game in the final.

The only possibility would be Mclaren taking over. No chance they would get in an interim.
