I think I'd rather have the Chinese take on a luxury SUV, the Hongqi HS9. The Rolls looks bloody awful, I actually thought it was some sort of joke/far East rip off when I saw the pic.

I must have st taste because I really like these biggrin

Some of the interior colour combos are appalling and not sure I'd have a white one but done right I think they look really nice.

Both demonstrate how hard it is to make something that big, bulky and blocky look even halfway good.

FFRRs seems to be about as good as can be hoped for, and the most positive adjectives that can hope for is something measured like "handsome" - go up a scale and there are only horrors - HS9, Wagoneer, and this.

Not sure any of the oversized SUVs are particularly good looking, handsome is definitely a stretch. I think most go for 'imposing', or brutally ugly. This Rolls is one of the worst, puts me in mind of a sad bulldog

The worst looking interior on any Rolls Royce ever produced.

Screens look cheap. Electronic dials look cheap. Centre console looks horrible, and cheap, and the seats are awful.

But yes they are very colour and spec dependent!

I probably need help...
I agree (on both points wink ). The first Cullnan I ever saw was a two tone version, the upper part was a very light blue, the lower was silver. It had quite a presence about it. Like numerous people have mentioned, the issue is with the black/black/black which does the car no favours.

Ultimately the owner is on the inside looking out; so what the car actually looks like outside is of little/no consequence to them.

I remember, when I was a kid 40/45 years ago seeing a Rolls Royce drive past and you would shout "Rolls Rooooooyce!!" with excitement. This year's EuroVision fills me with more excitement these days!

'kinell I couldn't live with that interior at any price, not even in a £500 barried Corsa. I assume that is Bradford wedding spec option box ticked?

TBF, the big Hongqi looks a lot better in the metal than that picture would suggest - it's lower and longer than the lic looks, proportioned more like the Velar to my eyes. One was parked next to me when I did the school run. Looks good in two-tone...

What a perfect spec for the UAE!
Biggest market for Cullinan is USA
Don't let facts get in the way of cliched comments.
It's not a cliché. I live in the UAE, and a significant proportion (quite possibly the majority) of vehicles are white 4x4s, most notably the ubiquitous Nissan Patrol (elsewhere called the Nissan Armada - what everyone else calls the Patrol, here they call the "Patrol SuperSafari"). There's also an awful lot of FFRRs in white too. It's less about taste and more about what works best when daytime temperature peak over 40C for half the year (starting around now).

I was in Abu Dhabi yesterday. Trust me, they love these (and every other expensive SUV / 4x4). They're perfectly suited to the wide roads, cheap fuel and low tax.

The white paint on the outside perfectly suits the desert, and the inside makes it a bit more interesting. I don't actually mind this spec, it's a bit more interesting than black / black / black.

I’m sure they do, but the biggest market is the USA followed by China.
But I bet the per capita purchase of RR is much higher in Abu Dhabi (and other gulf countries).

Dreadful
I don’t know what is worse- the fact these things are made or the fact that there is clearly a demand for them
Truly dreadful

White on the outside and lime green inside? I'm not trying to be fashionably "I hate that", but white screams povvo, lowest monthlies, whilst the lime green is just... tasteless. What about dark green outside and tan inside? Even black on black would be more attractive.

And average age 43? Well that just lets me know I've failed in life, then.
