I think some people can't count! No way those 911 numbers are correct.......

Speaking to one OPC last week, they haven't sold the number of cars reported on here (and I know we are only seeing the data from the Porsche website, so not wanting to be disrespectful to the poster who puts a lot of hard work into the table). In fact no where near the number quoted for that OPC was actually sold. What they do have is a limited number of cars for sale in the showroom and some unsold stored in a warehouse, ready to replace the showroom stock when sold.

So no massive bonuses to the Tonbridge sales team for shifting 22 911's last week? What you're saying is they have just stored them to drip feed the sales website (must be a big storage facility!)?

Here's todays numbers... paperbag

I popped into Porsche Wolverhampton over the weekend, they must have had around a dozen Taycans sat outside (all pre-owned) and several new sat there.

More likely their car storage provider has 'done well' according to reports above ;-)

Suspect someone at Porsche UK HQ has been reading this thread and realised the website stock levels being as visible as they were is possibly not a great idea - certainly not at the levels shown at the end of April.

Probably a dedicated team watching what the PistonHeads massive view on sales tactics and stock levels are lol.

It states Sutton Coldfield has one 911, think there was more than that in the showroom last week never mind what’s on the premises outside but matters not

The numbers are either being manipulated ... stock is being re-classified, or a lot of one to one deals are being done ?

Thanks for the info !

(Average sales of all Porsche are 500 cars per month and their stock has just reduced by 500 cars in a week ...)

t

According to the figures shown in the above table, Mid Sussex have only 9 cars in stock but if you look at their own website, they have 41 ! Several other OPC are shown as having zero stock ! That can’t be right either! Just saying !!

Yep, the first step was to alter the website to cap counts at 25, from 100 previously. Now they seem to be removing stock completely

The counts I have shared are available new stock, are the numbers you are describing used maybe?

Their website is now showing a total of 8 new cars in stock across ALL models. Last Friday they were showing 8 911s alone, and 40 odd in total. They must have been offering HUGE discounts! biggrin

Stupid question, but what exactly does "OPC" stand for?
