Reminds me of the Niemöller poem.

‘First they came for the lanyards and I did not speak out…’
All the issues we face as a country and their "Common Sense Minister" is banging on about Civil Servants wearing rainbow lanyards.

Utterly fking barking.

I assume you're for a full sackcloth and ashes dresscode; banning just the things you don't like is going to end up in court.

Cheese
Are you not aware of her glorious December trip to Beijing?

Of course.. But I seem to recall she did something bonkers about cheese too?

Don't have an issue with impartiality just find it beyond bizarre that this lot are on course to get their arses handed to them at the ballot box and they think the thing that will save them is people like McVey banging on about lanyards.

It's bonkers.

Could there be a middle ground, I do understand it’s cool to be sensationalist, but, it’s not reality is it?

I wasn’t aware that equal rights for people based on their sexual orientation or gender was a politically sensitive issue on which we’d expect civil servants to remain impartial.

Should they not wear poppies for Remembrance Sunday either in case it’s seen as being a threat to their impartiality by Third Reich apologists?

This government is a fking disgrace.

You thinking rainbow coloured stuff in support of LGBT means something political says a lot to be honest.

Sunak was well and truly shown up at PMQs today.
What an absolute waste of space.
Good riddance to bad rubbish soon, thankfully.

All sounds a bit right wing authoritarian to me.

What other things that you don't like should be banned?
