Here's my effort, no ceramic coating, but Polar Seal does a fine job.

Kamikaze Miyabi + Zipang applied in October 2020 and I gave a maintenance wash on Sunday with Angelwax Snowfoam and Bilt Hamber Auto Wash.



Meguiar's Endurance Gel (two coats) freshly applied and Bilt Hamber Double Speed Wax on the alloys

I remember this thread from the time. Even on DW they were taking the piss. You literally couldn't tell the difference between someone spending say 6 hours with a DA polisher and a wax and the 3 months he spent polishing a white car.

Hilarious waste of time.

A coat of auto finesse radiance last weekend and a coat of Fusso this weekend as I wasn’t impressed by the auto finesse. Happy with it now though.

Have just tried Infinity Wax's cdx graphene. Anyone else had experience with this? I spent a rather sweaty few minutes trying to buff the excess off. It would appear you really don't need to apply very much! Still the means seem to justify the end.

Holy thread revival! Another application of Kamizake Miyabe + Zipang. The ceramic coating on a black daily, acts as a 'sacrificial later' essentially, which saves the lacquer, but benefits from renewal.

Only wash it once a year, weekend car/garage queen and sorn'd over Winter. ND MX5

No wax/sealants, just as it left the factory, Zymol car shampoo (banana and coconut ) and AF Aquacoat, washed, coated, dried in well under an hour.
