Bit different. A modern dwarfed by a classic smile

I remember when I was about 7, we had an Austin A35 and all the old 'museum' cars seemed enormous.
Bentleys, Rollers, American cars.

I put this one up a few years back but I thought it was worth another go since probably many here have never seen it. A good example of the passage of time

I saw a P6 parked next to an Astra yesterday - the P6 looked tiny!

That Bedford Astra van is probably a rarer spot than a P6!

What’s the van to the right of the astra, some Japanese import?

I bought a 3500S that colour in 1979 and it seemed like a big car after a Fiat 125!

Funnily enough a Mini like that was parked next to me the other day and it dwarfed my 2005 3 Series. Mini just means a BMW sub-brand these days.

Looks like a Volvo 740/940 estate next to it too.

Lots of older stuff in the one pic.

The Rover was considered a "big" car in its day.

The MINI isn't a big car by today's standards.

Which helps to explain why parking is such a pain these days.

It was! My uncle had one, it felt like a limousine when I was little, I thought it was the most luxurious car.

Especially if it has the performance enhancing copy of The Sun thrown on the dashboard.
