F10 M5 Service schedule - are these intervals odd?

So I am looking at an AUC

but now trying to get my hands on the actual service schedule I can see the running in services was done at 1500 miles ish - fine

the next services was then done 2 years later at 34k miles. Firstly thats a loty of miles in 2 years but shouldnt that have been serviced much sooner?

OK so I've been sent some more info, looks like there was another service at c.18k not showing on I drive for some reason.

Car is AUC coming with 2 years fully comp BMW insurance so BMW have def OKd it.

It's a 1 owner car on c55k miles, so I think that maybe was just an anomaly.

Gonna see if they can amend idrive nor sure if that's possible!?

It'd had services since then all at short intervals,most was 10k, so it was just that missing service that was the issue.

They have said they can't amend the idrive, did you get an old entry changed on your z4 or was it just adding a current entry?

They seem to be saying they can't add in service that happened back in 2016

I now have the missing service from BMW so all looks good but its bugging me it's not on iDrive.

I don't know where the missing service was done but hopefully the dealer I'm buying from can help me

In full I have a pretty comprehensive service list - looks like they used the car a lot in the first two years but still regular service and the services are all within the timeline for the car, and BMW HQ, to be happy:


Jan 2016 - 1.5k
Jan 2017 - 18k
Dec 2018 - 33k
Feb 2019 - 35k
Mar 2021 - 45k
Feb 2023 - 52k
Sep 2023 - 54k (dealer selling the car)

any thoughts?

As I say it is coming with a fully comp BMW warranty for 24 months

Thanks all I'm still thinking it over.

It's had no remap, confirmed in writing by BMW.

Its also had only 1 older owner since new.

If I could wait for a car with better history I'd be tempted but there seem to be increasingly fewer BMW AUC m5s and to then also find one with yhe right spec.....
